Quote for Memorial Day - Thanks Linda

“…that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion, that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain, that this Nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” President Abraham Lincoln

Spring Awakenings in Atlanta

Screenshot2010-03-23at9.04.00PM.BB8AYjYskooy.jpgBroadway Across America is bringing ?Spring Awakenings? to cities around the US. After seeing it with the award winning cast (including the Glee star), Daniel, Erica, Lisa and I spent a night at the theatre a week ago. The performance was enjoyable as the first ones in NYC. The Fox Theatre has poor acoustics for performance and layout for shows like ?Spring Awakenings? in regards to blocking the stage with lights.

Very interesting ambiance with the stars above the audience, I must be very biased to the soundtrack and how much more upbeat and unison it sounds. A few scenes still hit home, and I will never forget the chills over my body when I experienced it in NYC with Victor and later with Sean…

Sharing “Divine Order” that a good friend shared with me…

    Divine Order

I am one with the divine order of life.

Entering now into winter, I recall the memory of spring’s blossoms and the potential they displayed. The tiny buds soaking up the spring rain, yearning to bloom into the fruit and flowers of summer.

I am one with the divine order of life, and in this divine flow I am productive while at ease. I am peaceful, balanced and aware. I exercise my body and eat wholesome foods, get pleasure from both work and leisure, enjoy friends and family, and nurture myself with revitalizing sleep. Guided and nourished by the Spirit within, I continue to grow in spiritual understanding, always toward the light of God. I am immersed in the divine order of life, and all is well.

I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.–Leviticus
